How Oklahoma taxes your paycheck
Oklahoma uses tax brackets, so each rate applies only to the part of your taxable income inside that bracket. 2026 brackets:
| Rate | Single | Married filing jointly |
|---|---|---|
| 0% | $0 to $3,750 | $0 to $7,500 |
| 2.5% | $3,750 to $4,900 | $7,500 to $9,800 |
| 3.5% | $4,900 to $7,200 | $9,800 to $14,400 |
| 4.5% | Over $7,200 | Over $14,400 |
Before the brackets apply:
- Standard deduction: $6,350 single, $12,700 married filing jointly.
- Personal exemption: $1,000 per filer.
- Dependent exemption: $1,000 each.
