Privacy policy

Last updated October 7, 2026

Leftover Planner is a free money planner at leftoverplanner.com. This page explains what information is used when you visit, and what isn't. In short: the numbers you type into the planner never leave your device.

The numbers you enter

Your pay, bills, debts and goals are stored only in your own web browser (in "local storage") so your plan is still there when you come back. They are never sent to Leftover Planner or anyone else. You can erase them at any time with "Start fresh" or by clearing your browser data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use these to identify you.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

Leftover Planner may show ads served by Google and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.

Partner links

Some recommendations link to partner companies, such as banks or apps. If you click one, that company may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. Leftover Planner may earn a commission if you sign up, at no cost to you. We never share the numbers you entered with partners.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the planner will still work. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because we don't collect your planner numbers, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or erase, but you can contact us with any request.

Children

Leftover Planner is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
